当阴蒂切除合并小阴唇的部分或全部的切除时，我们就称之为“阴户部分切除(excision)”。这种手术类型算得上是部分的阴户切除(vulvectomy)，即阴户的大部分的切除。在女性性反应中，高度敏感的小阴唇扮演着重要的角色，它们的缺失必然会损害这种生理反应。简而言之，这种手术甚至是比单独的阴蒂切除更为严重的器官毁损。

When a clitoridectomy is combined with the partial or complete removal of the inner lips (labia minora), one speaks of an “excision”. This type of surgery amounts to a partial vulvectomy, i.e. the removal of large parts of the vulva. The highly sensitive inner lips play an important role in the female sexual response, and their absence cannot but impair this response. In short, this operation is an even more serious mutilation than a clitoridectomy alone.
