如果遵守常规卫生守则，去医院看病期间无危险（也就是可以任意使用医院的设备或消过毒的器械）。

除了非常有效的措施以外，当接受输血和血浆时，有极低危险。为此，建议您手术前储备自己的血液，需要时输用自己的血液。如果按照规章对血液制品做相应的处理，灭活的血液制品不传染HIV。

Despite very effective safety
measures, there is an - extremely
low - residual risk when receiving blood and blood plasma. For this
reason, you are recommended to
donate your own blood for scheduled
operations. Inactivated blood products
are virtually HIV-safe if manufactured according to the regulations.
