宫颈帽
宫颈帽由柔软的薄橡胶制成，比阴道隔膜小，也有数种型号。它被放置在阴道上端，覆盖着子宫颈。这种机械性隔阻作用会防止精子进入子宫。恰好与阴道隔膜相同，宫颈帽必须由医生帮助选用，这将保证使用时尺寸合适和安放位置得当。在挑选好合适的型号后，使用者可以自行在性交前插入宫颈帽，使用时必须至少放置6小时。
避孕效果：如果合并使用杀精子剂，相当有效。

Cervical Cap
A cervical cap is made of thin, soft rubber and is smaller than diaphragms, but also available in several types and sizes. It is inserted into the upper part of the vagina to cover the cervix. This mechanical barrier will prevent the sperm from entering the uterus. Just as the diaphragm, the cap has to be fitted by a doctor. This will ensure that the right size is being used and that it is placed in the right position.  After the initial fitting, the woman can insert the cap herself before she has intercourse. It must then be left in place at least for 6 hours.
Effectiveness: Fairly effective if used together with a spermicide.
