阴道环
阴道环是一种直径约5厘米（2英寸）、环粗0.3厘米(1/8英寸)的柔韧弹性圆环。每月放入阴道3周，尔后按月更换一次。象避孕药和避孕贴片一样，阴道环即含有雌激素也含有孕激素。这些激素通过阴道壁吸收。在性交时，通常感觉不到环的存在，因而不会干扰性生活。因为可能存在着副作用，医嘱及其监察是重要的。

Vaginal Ring
The vaginal ring is a flexible plastic ring about 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter and 0,3 cm (1/8 inch) thick. It is inserted into the vagina for 3
weeks out of the month, then replaced with a new ring every month. Like the pill and the patch, the ring contains both an estrogen and a progestin. These hormones are absorbed through the vaginal walls. The ring usually cannot be felt during sexual intercourse and does not interfere with it. Since there are some possible side effects, a doctor’s advice and supervision are important.
